Pain is still funny.

You know, I thought I was was past that whole America's Funniest Home Videos thing. But I still laugh every time I see that guy get pegged in the face with a basketball in the Dairy Queen commercial. Although for horrifically guilty pleasures involving basketballs gone awry, nothing holds a candle to this little gem.

And oh yeah. Go Cubs.

That commercial rulz. I couldn't get your video link to work though, sir.

Go Cubs, indeed. You gonna get up here for a game this year?

Hmm... I saw this comment this morning and thus tested out the download/video on the computer at the bookstore today, and it worked just fine. Are you left-clicking? Maybe if you right-click and download it first it'll work for ya. Beyond that, though, I dunno. This video's been around for a while and so I'd be surprised if it was a codec thing.

And yes! I fully intend to head up that way for a game or two this summer, but I'm not at the "make definite plans" stage yet. I'll keep ya updated. ^_^

See if you can do it sometime around the week of July 4th and we can make an outing of it.

If I don't go to an actual game this year I'm thinking of at least taking the Wrigley Field Tour this summer. You get to sit in the dugout!!! That would be nifty.

Well, as I've already not-so-non-smugly stated, I've got tickets for Saturday, July 2nd. So, that would rock. We could, like, meet up and stuff.
